Your neighbourhood dental office at Danforth and Warden
If you live, work or shop around Danforth and Warden, the office is close enough to fit a visit into a lunch hour or the drive home. We are at 3520 Danforth Avenue, Unit 107, in the building known locally as Terrace on Danforth. Parking is behind the building and the office is wheelchair accessible, so a parent with a stroller or a senior with a walker can come in without stairs.
Dr. Samar Fadavi, DDS, a University of Toronto graduate who has practised dentistry since 2005, leads the office. The team speaks English, French and Farsi, and we can communicate in ASL. Whether you are coming in for a six month cleaning or because a tooth started aching last night, you get the same unhurried explanation of what we see and what your options are.

How a first visit works
- Call or send a request. Tell us what is bothering you, if anything, and which days suit you. Evening appointments run until 7 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and we are open Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
- Bring your details. A list of your medications, your insurance card or CDCP information, and any recent X-rays from another office if you have them.
- Examination and X-rays. We check your teeth, gums, bite and the soft tissues of your mouth, and take only the images we need.
- A clear plan. You see what we see on screen, hear the options in plain language, and receive a written estimate for anything that needs treatment. Nothing starts until you agree.
- Booking the next steps. We schedule follow-up visits around your work, school or caregiving week.
Insurance, CDCP and estimates
We bill most dental insurers directly, and we accept patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan. The amount you pay out of pocket, if any, depends on your plan, the treatment you need and what your coverage allows. We explain this before treatment and give you a written estimate, so you can decide with all the facts. Details are on our insurance and billing page.
Seasonal tips for local families
- Back to school: September and October fill quickly with children’s check-ups, so book Saturday spots early.
- Winter: cold air can make sensitive teeth sting. If it keeps happening, mention it at your next check-up rather than ignoring it.
- Year end: many insurance plans renew on January 1. If you still have coverage left this year, December appointments are worth booking in the fall.
- Summer sports: a mouthguard for basketball, hockey or soccer protects front teeth. Ask us at a visit.

Common questions
Questions from Danforth and Warden patients
Is the office on Danforth Avenue or Danforth Road?
Danforth Avenue. Danforth Road splits off Danforth Avenue just west of Warden Avenue and heads northeast, which confuses map apps now and then. Our address is 3520 Danforth Avenue, Unit 107, postal code M1L 1E5.
Where do I park?
Use the parking behind the building. If you need help getting from your car to the office, call when you arrive and we will meet you.
Can I be seen today for a toothache?
We keep same-day time for emergencies and accept walk-ins. Calling first lets us prepare and often see you sooner. You do not need to be a patient of the office already.
Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
Yes. Bring your CDCP member information to your first visit and we will explain what the plan covers for the treatment you need before we begin.
Are you open in the evening or on weekends?
We are open until 7 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. Tuesday hours are 1 pm to 5 pm, and we are closed on Sunday.
Which languages does the team speak?
English, French and Farsi, and we can communicate in ASL. Let us know when you book so the right team member is available.
