Dr. Samar Fadavi, DDS

Training and experience

Dr. Samar Fadavi completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2005. Before that, she ranked first among internationally trained dentists on the National Dental Examining Board of Canada examination, with a score of 91%.

She has practised in Ontario, Quebec, and Newfoundland and Labrador, including mobile dental services for elderly and housebound patients, experience that shaped how this office was designed and how it runs.

How she practises

Patients describe Dr. Fadavi as gentle with freezing and attentive: she listens before she treats, explains what she sees in plain language, and does not rush. She has a particular commitment to geriatric dentistry and to helping nervous patients receive the care they need while feeling safe. With younger patients she makes a point of connecting through their interests, so the visit is about them and not just their teeth.
